Receive Tips with Lime DJ
Now you can connect your PayPal account to Lime DJ and provide the option for your audience to leave you a tip when they make their song request. When you receive a tip, the funds will be immediately deposited into your PayPal account and you will be notified on your Song Requests page with the tip amount shown beneath the song.
Your audience can select from preset tip amounts when making their request
Get Started
- Ensure you have a current Personal or Business PayPal account
- Click on Tipping on the main dashboard
- Select your currency (this must match your PayPal account)
- Click CONNECT TO PAYPAL
- You will be returned to Lime DJ on completion of integration
Once you have completed these steps, your audience will be presented with preset tipping amounts when they make a song request. When clicked, they will be taken to a PayPal page to make payment via a credit/debit card or their PayPal account and then will be returned to your show. When a tip is received you will be notified on the Song Requests page and the amount will be shown beneath the song.
Click on the orange notification icon on your Song Requests page and you will see all the tips that have been received for that show
Click on the menu button (3 bars) and then click on Show Tips to view all the details of the tips received for your show including PayPal transaction numbers for cross referencing
Note: Platform fees of 5% (minimum 50c) plus applicable PayPal fees apply to all transactions.
