How To - Charge players for Music Bingo
You can now charge players to join a Music Bingo game and make extra revenue or use the funds to put towards prizes.
To get started, you will need to have a connected Stripe account. Stripe is one of the world's leading payment gateways and allow a seamless connection to your Lime DJ account, giving you the ability to receive tips and charge players to join games.
When you receive a payment or a tip, the funds go directly into your Stripe account (Lime DJ does not process or hold your funds), you can setup Stripe to payout directly to your nominated bank account on a schedule convenient to you.
On the main Music Bingo page, click on the 'Game Payments' button. Follow the instructions on this screen to create a new Stripe account that will connect to your Lime DJ account.
Create a new Music Bingo game and select the amount you wish to charge your players.
When your players join the game they will be prompted to pay the fee set by you in order to join. Note: Stripe card processing fees will be added to this amount.
Once payment has been made, the player will be able to join the game. The payment fee will land in your Stripe account ready for withdrawal.
You can view the list of all payments received by clicking on the "Game Payments" button on the main Music Bingo page. You can also export the payment history to a CSV file for download.
If for some reason you need to issue a refund to a player, this can be done from your Stripe account.
Simply click on the link to your Stripe account on the Game Payments page and locate the payment to be refunded, on the right side of the payment details you will find an icon to issue the refund,
